Asheville Pint Night Social and Early Registration
This year North Carolina Outward Bound School is celebrating its 50th anniversary! So you know what that means… we are looking for any excuse to get together and be social!
On March 29th, we will be hosting an early registration night for our annual Collier Lilly Bike Ride for NCOBS happening May 27th at the brand new Wedge location. Anyone who registers that evening will receive a pint of beer on us! Come out and swap stories with other Outward Bound alumni and friends and learn more about what is happening this year to celebrate our 50 years of impact.
Come celebrate our 50th Anniversary! North Carolina Outward Bound School (NCOBS) is hosting a half century bike ride in honor of Collier Lilly. In 2017 we are riding our 50 miles for 50 years of impact from NCOBS. The ride offers a beautiful Blue Ridge Mountain route, the 50 mile half century with 3,600 feet of climbing, that will start and end at the Wedge Brewery's new location in Asheville. In keeping with Outward Bound’s bedrock principles of “challenge and discovery,” the Collier Lilly Ride for NCOBS will take riders over challenging mountain passes and allow them to discover scenic roads for the first time.
Distance: 50 Mile Half Century Ride When: Saturday, 5/27/2017 8:30 am Where: Wedge@Foundation, 5 Foundy St. This location is the BRAND NEW Wedge Location! Old Lyman Street - directly behind Riverview Station Asheville, NC
You've been asking, now here it is, a monthly social in Charlotte! This gathering will take place the first Wednesday of every month at Free Range Brewing in Charlotte and is for anyone interested in the great outdoors, good people, and the Outward Bound lifestyle.
We look forward to connecting like-minded people and building a network from which to recruit for service events around the community and fun outdoor expeditions.
