How to Stay Connected: Volunteer

Alumni make pilgrimages from all over the country to help North Carolina Outward Bound during Swap-Ya. This bi-annual reunion is a week-long service project designed to upgrade facilities at a designated base camp. You give us five days of service work and we Swap-Ya two "play days" consisting of activities like hiking, climbing and paddling.

Table Rock, Cedar Rock and Green Cove Base Camps are located in the Southern Appalachian Mountains. The Sunset Island Base Camp is located in the Florida Ten Thousand Islands. If you are interested in attending please download the Swap-Ya Application.
