The North Carolina Outward Bound Alumni Association supports alumni in applying the lessons from their courses to themselves, others and the world around them. We strive to help alumni remain Outward Bound in their daily lives.

Keep up ties.
You are the essence of the North Carolina Outward Bound philosophy. Here are some ways to keep in touch:
- Fill out our alumni information form to let us know how you are doing.
- Send photos from your course to info@ncobs.org with your name and course number in the subject line. We may use these photos in marketing materials and/or social networking sites and want to cerdit you for your photos. Please nothing larger than 10 MB.
- You can also purchase North Carolina Outward Bound logo gear at our online Gear Store. Or you can purchase from our limited stock of tshirts and hats. View photos of these items here. Email us at info@ncob.org to ask about what we currently have in stock.
Spread the word.
Become an Alumni Recruiter! As an alum of an Outward Bound course, you have first-hand experience that will excite and motivate others to enroll in an Outward Bound course. Each year more than 60% of our new students come to us because our alumni tell others about their experience.
You can earn $150 for each person you refer who enrolls on and attends a North Carolina Outward Bound course. Share your Outward Bound experiences with people you know, and we'll supply the materials (catalogs, posters, etc.). Fill out the Alumni Recruiter Form to let us know you're interested in becoming an Alumni Recruiter.
At the end of each quarter, we'll check our records and send you $150 for each person you recruited who participated in any North Carolina Outward Bound course. After 10 referred students,* you'll receive a bonus of $250. Sign up to be an official Alumni Recruiter.
*Student is defined as someone who comes on course. Outward Bound staff, Board of Directors and Advisory Council Members are not eligible for this program. Note: Referral MUST call North Carolina Outward Bound directly and provide your name when they enroll.
