With Outward Bound: I started working for Outward Bound in 1991. I started with Hurricane Island Outward Bound
- STEP and joined NCOBS in the spring of 2005.
Why did you choose to join Outward Bound?
I wanted to give back to the community at large in a capacity that kept me inspired at the same time.
What's the most rewarding aspect of working for Outward Bound?
The inspiration that I get from every course I work. I still cry at closing circle.
What are your favorite moments on course?
When students are having their "a-ha moment".
Tell us about a recent accomplishment or adventure:
My most recent adventure was working down in the Everglades for two months. Amazing!
Do you get any specific cravings while you are on course?
I don't think I crave anything while I am out on course, but my favorite after course snack is grilled hamburger with blue cheese while sitting on the deck enjoying a great view with friends.
