The Unity Project is a cross-cultural, school-based experiential education program. Unity courses are designed to use the Outward Bound wilderness experience as the catalyst for building unity within a school community. Unity within each school is built by recognizing racism, inequality and injustice and by practicing moral courage to develop greater understandings.

The Outward Bound Atlanta was established in 1992 as a program of the North Carolina Outward Bound School with a mission to affect lasting change in the lives of Atlanta's youth through challenging, experiential learning that embodies the key values of Outward Bound: self-reliance, craftsmanship, physical fitness and compassion.

The Educators Initiative is an innovative program that focuses on professional development for classroom teachers through the lens of experiential education. Educators will focus on how to incorporate experiential education into their classroom, while receiving the support of a network of colleagues to assist them in their curriculum development and delivery.
