Professional Background: 12 years as a field instructor, course director and program administrator for the Colorado, Voyageur and North Carolina Outward Bound Schools. Deb has led and participated in expeditions throughout the alpine, coastal, canyon and desert regions of the United States, Canada, Europe, Siberia, New Zealand, Peru, Baja & Central Mexico, and Costa Rica.

Why Deb serves on the Board: My years as an Outward Bound Instructor were the most meaningful, challenging and rewarding part of my professional life. Serving on the board allows me to stay closely involved with the important work of Outward Bound (without having to carry a backpack or live in my truck) and to work with an extraordinarily enthusiastic, generous and talented group of people.
